Inavayam Privacy Policy

App: Inavayam Draw, Colour & Tell

Inavayam is a free drawing, colouring, tracing and storytelling app for children and families. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information stored on your device

The app stores drawings, saved pictures, story text, character images, story pages and preferences in its private storage on your device so you can continue creating. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address or other personal details to use the app.

Information we collect and share

We do not collect or receive your drawings, stories or personal information through the app. The app does not contain advertising, analytics or developer-operated tracking services. We do not sell user information. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access.

Read-aloud feature

When you choose Read aloud, story text is passed to the text-to-speech engine installed on your device. The app selects an installed voice that reports that it does not require a network connection. No voice recording is made. Availability depends on the voices installed on your device. The text-to-speech provider's own privacy practices apply to its service.

Saving and exporting pictures

If you choose to export a picture or story page, Android asks you where to save the image. The location you choose may be local storage or a third-party cloud storage provider. That provider's privacy policy applies to files saved there. Exported copies are separate from the app's private files.

Android backup and device transfer

Android backup is enabled for the app. Depending on your device, account and backup settings, Android or your device provider may back up app files and preferences to your configured backup service or transfer them to another device. We do not operate that service or have access to those backups. Manage backups through your device and backup-provider settings.

Children's privacy

Inavayam is designed for children and families. It does not ask children to submit personal information, and it has no public profiles, chat or public posting features. Parents and guardians should supervise exports and avoid adding identifying or sensitive information to stories or drawings that will be shared outside the app.

Retention and deletion

App data remains on your device until you remove it. Saved gallery items can be removed using the gallery's Remove option. To remove all locally stored app content and preferences, use Android Settings to clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Exported images and backup copies must be deleted separately through the location or backup service that holds them. Restoring a backup may restore previously saved app data.

Support emails

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use it to respond and resolve your request and retain correspondence only as needed for support and applicable obligations. Please do not send children's personal information or sensitive content. You can request deletion of support correspondence using the contact below, subject to applicable retention obligations.

Security

The app uses Android's private app storage for its working files. Protect your device with appropriate security settings. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If the app's information practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised. Any required notices or permissions will be provided before introducing those changes.
